RULES, Terms, and Conditions
1. Eligibility
The contest is open to individuals of all ages and from any location.
Submissions are limited to the first 32 entries.
2. Submission Guidelines
Participants must submit their beats at www.allupinthemix.com/beatcontest
Submissions must be in MP3 format, with a sample rate of 48kHz or 44.1kHz.
Beats must be no longer than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Participants may submit only one beat.
Genre Requirement: Beats must fall within the Hip Hop or R&B genres to qualify.
Use your best judgment when submitting beats, considering what styles and qualities are most likely to stand out and succeed in a head-to head competition.
3. Originality
All beats must be 100% original to ensure eligibility for monetization purposes.
Submissions flagged as unoriginal or containing unlicensed material by YouTube or other platforms will be disqualified.
4. Deadlines
Submissions must be received by 11:59 PM (local time) on January 29, 2025.
Winners will be chosen during a live stream on January 31, 2025.
5. Voting
Winners will be determined by live voting from the chat during the stream.
The competition will follow a tournament-style single elimination format.
6. Prizes
(1) Grand Prize winner will receive: Native Instruments Kontrol S61 Keyboard + Komplete 15 Ultimate
(1) 2nd place winner will receive Komplete 15 Ultimate
7. Rights and Usage
Participants retain full ownership of their beats.
By submitting a beat, participants grant the contest organizers permission to use their submission for promotional purposes related to the contest.
8. Disqualification
Submissions that exceed the time limit, fail to meet format requirements, or are flagged as unoriginal will be disqualified.
9. Agreement to Terms
Submitting a beat and filling out the form below constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions.
10. Cancellations and Changes
The organizers reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the contest at their discretion due to unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated promptly.
